   Thanks Jay I was thinking no way am I idling at 3,000 rpm. Ill change it tomorrow. It has been to hot here in Arizona 112 to drive the car unless you do in the early morning hours.

   A few pictures of my magneto after I had a friend check it for me. I also polished it by hand and installed a new tag and a new cap. Next will be the plug wires and to hook up the converter near the tach.

    Here are 2 pictures showing where I had my magneto before. Kept the engine and sold the race car.

Are you keeping the red anodized clamp? I am trying to decide if it matches the look and feel of the car. I do see other red AN fittings that it may match up with.... ??? :-\

Was your local guy able to verify what the advance curve looks like?
