OK Sarge, since you've been around since the big bang of the VW hot rod scene, and have surrounded yourself with fellow go-fast VW geeks for years and years, let's hear your impressions of some of the old DKP days and guys, vs. today's stuff and guys. You MUST see some similarities among yesteryear's members vs. the present "lineup"  Grin...any you care to share? Anybody from the old days remind oyu of somebody that hangs around today? Any speedy VW nut is kinda cut from the same loaf, right dude?

HUFF, PUFF, WHEEZE....Geez, I can barely keep up with all the action on here today, Jim  Wink!  The one that ALWAYS comes to mind is Ron Fleming / Dave Mason.  That's just off the top...I'll have to think a little harder for more.  Good topic!  Grin
