Following on from Louis' "Dangerous When Bored" thread, as it says above, what cars would you build if time, money and skill was no object?! Oh, and space to keep them... Wink

I'll start!
I've always facied a '63ish Corvette roadster drag car, with full tube chassis, strut front end and rack and pinion steering, spindle mount Mitchells with front runners, rear discs and 7" Erco star cut outs and 8" slicks, 091 bus box with vertigate shifter, ladder bar rear end and a 2442cc carb'd alcohol flat four in the back! 60' Ford Unibody pick up. Narrowed, tubbed, red, slapped,  flipped and rubbed down. I love um! Oh yeh, and something hanging out of the hood. Vish

Damn, it would be hard to narrow down the list. So many cars, so little time in life.  Cheesy

Probably a Deuce roadster highboy along the lines of Doan Spencer's car. Black paint, red tuck and roll interior, duval windshield, hot rodded flat head, polished quick change out back and a set of Halibrand kidney bean wheels. All the bright work would be nickel plated instead of chromed.

Another option would be an American Graffiti style coupe, also in black.

ask me next week and get a different choice.  Grin

32 hiboy roadster with 5 speed, 3-71 GMC blower on a smallblock, split wishbones or hairpins and Halibrands or American D spokes.  Sort of a tribute to the McMullen roadster.  Oh, and 50 Olds taillights.

That is right, they had gone to the shoe box body style. I prefer the early 50s Chevys myself. My first car was a '54 chevy 210 sedan.

Don't worry, Sarge, I almost always get lost on the way to your house anyway, so I'll probably get lost on the 2nd, if you can wait that long?  Cheesy

Wow, I must be real blue collar.  One of these never even crossed my mind until I saw the picture above.  Excuse me while I hold my laptop up with one hand.
