Last night, we go with friends in a wood to find an Old Bug we heard some days ago.

It's always fun to make such discovery  Cheesy

With the VIN I find that's it is a split from june 1950.

We hoped find a patina bug  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes But woods in Belgium are really not a good place to keep a 58 years old bug in good state, especially when it sat there for at least 25 years  Cry

This is me on the right, at the driver place  Cheesy

Man, that is TOTALLY saveable. Smiley

I believe the correct term is "I'd roll that".

But yeh, split section, dash, rear body mounts? boot floor? It looks like it was in good condition when it was left there!

Yes, we think also that it was in good condition. No traces of accidents.

Looks like the very rare 'flat roof version'. Grin  I guess thats a better way to go rather than a car crusher.

Looks better than what I started with  Sad

It looks to have a perfectly good pair of glove box trims to salvage
