Yep! me too. I shall be popping down... heopfully in convoy if I can be ready soon. Quite looking forward to the drive and seeing the workshop.

Lids:
After speaking to few US racers, they all use straps and have done so for years, welding the spring plate sounds like complete cock.  So save your money get straps made to measure at £14 a pair and it does the same job.  Plus it can be undone back to stock if you want.

There is many ways to skin a cat, stop the ping-pong argueing.
Welding up the stops is one way and limiter straps is one other. I run limiter straps and it works for me (11.29 in a N/A street bug without any handling problems). Some other time maybe I will try to weld the stop.
If you run a business you have to get payed in some way so I don't think it is weird to charge people money. No one is forcing them to do it.
 
I don't like the harse language though. Maybe it's OK on the UK forums but keep it there.
