Hi,, well after some long winter month of work ,we were at our firstdrag  race for the season here in France!
So our good friend Laurent O ran best 11.65" with the car and his new 2276cc.
And for us, we screwed the 2387cc engine on  cedric' car(black hand ) as Ingrid oval is not ready. We finely ran a very good 11.86",with a quite bad 60ft (1.785") and  a too long gear box (4.125 with 3.78/2.06/1.38/0.89) .Now we have to wait EBi to run the engine on I girl car with the good gear box and a real race weight car!!!  Grin Grin

Should be obligatory at any race if you ask me  Smiley Preferably with a very strict dress code!

Congrats with the new times! As JHU mention above, please send them in so that we can start upgrading our list for this season.

Well I will add some engine spec :
the 86mm crank is  a "good old" bugpack T4 center wedgmated and with porsche rod bearing.the rods are 5.500"carillo.the heads are drd L8 bought in 46*38 but this winter we modified them to go with 48*38 and very light valves.tfor the cam I remain the fk46 we ran for the last 2s easons adding  1.5 pauter rocker.the CR is around 12:1.the 51.5 are jaycee ones with some berg special parts on them now Grin ehsaust is a jay cee 2"
the case is a vw mag one purchased from mike Lawless
I plan on changing cam for the future (pauter grind for sure, don already gave me info about  the one I want Grin) but needless to say that we first screw like this to see on a lighter car and the KCR race box waiting in the garage!!

That might go some way to explain why people drive the 500 or so miles there from the UK!
