I tried some different ideas for the door panels and seats today... wich one do you like best?
The hot-rod squares or the traditional fat biscuits?

Very nice interior Jick, thats the style I'm looking after...probably going with the fat biscuits but like yours very much.
Did you do it yourself or hand it out?

ha ha....i'd be pretty happy if i could make something like that
i had it done by a dude here in the UK called Neil Tadman, he's very well known in the custom car/hotrod scene....he really is a top guy.
what colour is your car to go with the black interior?

The interior should come in my karmann, haven't decided on the colour yet!
Probably orange, in traditional 70ies cal look style.
with 8 spoke empi's
I'm gonna try to do the interior myself, with the help of my girlfriend offcourse

sounds like a cool car, if you look on the thread about colours by Monkiboy in Off Topic there are some links to porsche colour charts from the 70's...there's some nice orange shades on there.
..if you did those samples above then i'm sure your interior will turn out well, they look very good.

Double stitched fat biscuts just like the one you have on the right. Maybe make them more of a rectangle instead of square. Look at the Keith Goss choptop interior for a great example. You can use thread of a contrasting color to really make it pop. I like doing interiors

I'd say diamond stich it, but then I am biased
Well done on having a go at the interior yourself!! I'm just not that brave

I'm partial to this style. I'll redo this same pattern on my VW Blue 67, eventually.

It's not the best picture, but I've just gone away from stock interior, still using the standard runners...

I went for diamonds on my headliner too. I took me a while to convince myself it would work, but once it went in I knew it was just right

Thanks, That's my old 61 ragtop I ran in the DRKC in 2001, I t was sold and eventually was parted out. That is the same interior that Luke (Ideaman) put in his green 60.

NICE NEEDLEWORK DUDE!! I don't have much in the way of interiour but what I got is Diamond Stich. Love the stuff!! I got the door and rear pannels from a friend in a swap , and the seats are from the empi catalogue, also diamond stich, still got to get the headliner done, and probably a few other bits.

Those are regular poly bucket seats. Commonly used in race cars and sandrails. Sold by just about everybody.
