[semi-vague mode]I wouldn't want to do ever do that. But if I could have it arranged, I would make sure that a certain famous and respected VW person got his car rightfully back to him so it would no longer suffer the ongoing embarrassment that it currently endures. That way, the car would be lovingly restored back to it's proper state and it would be enjoyed by many admirers.[/semi-vague mode]

My Mom told me that stealing is bad, but if I was going to do it, I would take "Turbo Bob" Hemphill's car.

HAHA!! That's a pretty cool lookin' car, I can see why you'd want it.

[edit] Hey... wait a sec. I know that car. If John is the same guy I'm thinkin' of, I've seen that car in person at his shop. Not far from my house. One sweet car! I really dug on how the decklid came out, if it's the same car.

I love Darrell's car.  I remember when it was just a dream.  He had so far to go and did almost everything himself.  He is a true craftsman and a good friend!

Zach, you've got great taste. Darrell's car is one of my favorite Cal Lookers ever built.
