it was more like a brand.... 3D imprint... so after 3 days of commuting, no issues, floor is still dry under motor, and this combo turned out easier to drive than I expected. My impressions are that it runs much the same in doclie light throttle driving as the last setup did, it does seem to make usable torque about 3-500 rpm higher BUT it responds faster, if that makes sense. There is a hilly, narrow canyon road that I commute home on, Box Canyon in Canoga Park, and many of the corners are very tight, 15-25mph and steep.... the new combo wants to run above 2300 rpm, where the old setup would pull 2000.... BUT the FK45/wedgeport combo would have this big hole under 3700 or so if I stomped it, the Pauter cam/044's doesn't give the same "dead spot" in power band, it just climbs rev range, and really comes on just under 5K.... it's still fresh, so I am shifting it @ 6K, but it is still pulling. I'm going to drive it down to Glendale Saturday morning, we'll see how it does keeping up with the 85mph idiots on I-5

Is that an industrial motor ? It looks like one of those industrial motors from liquid air, or maybe its from an old farm tractor.

yeah that's right! 026 103 485 is the number Diederick. Some of the Type 2 gas caps we sold (or some of the caps for aftermarket pre '68 tanks) looked like this too, Zach... man I never thought my oil cap would earn mention on the Lounge... (blushing)
