Very nice, I mean the green/white hulk of my sweet '66 sitting there! How about next weekend I'll come and push her inside for a good ol' care and tenderness now that you've opended up the gate.

And Mr. Axlenut, don't hold out on us. Show us Mimi the Mummy.

Thanks for the affirmation/reassurance... Whilst reading this topic I started to doubt the existence of it for a moment...   Wink Grin

wow all that masonary, that would not be cheap.
Common in Hawaii too, concrete homes rot less.
Past home to several VWs, "basic" 8 car garage.
Maybe too much garage, cars are too expensive to fill it.  Undecided

Thanks but it’s not full of Ferraris, wide screens and racing memorabilia.
It also not in Malibu or Monaco and I don’t have a full time mechanic living in a gate house.
Have you seen those coffee table picture books with the super awesome car guy garages, nice!
I’ve never been to Europe and enjoy seeing where you guys tinker too.
Hope you guys post some more. Smiley

Show off, Its as big as my house!  We can't have garages like that in the UK takes up to much living space.

For example, countryside = home for family of 2, suburbia = home for family of 4, stamford hill = home for polish family of 20!

Wood's good for cars though, the chemicals given off by damp masonry garages contribute to the rust process. And as for that palacial car condo, something that size in Europe would generally be redeveloped into five or so apartments, in fact given the paint's good on the outside it would be five luxury apartments...

This is a picture of my garage about a year or so ago!

Thing is at the moment it is full of other stuff and I can't get in to work on the car!

The second one is my lock up where I store more bits I’ve accumulated over the years!

I'm sure Russell and KevD will be on to post some funny coments about it Roll Eyes

There are people out there who'd classify that as a finished car barring the addition of a roofrack.
