Let me introduce my latest project... a late model cabrio.
It needs a far amount off work but allready has a nice look.

Plans are;
dechromed
empi 8 spokes
keeping the paint, maybe remove the painting on the decklid?
1700cc engine, color coded  Grin
put a bumper on the front to match the back
...

That's a true survivor  Shocked

If the decklid is paint and not a vinyl stickers, I think it's better to keep it like that and maybe paint a second decklid if you want to change.

Add red bumpers with hidden bolts. Change the rear visor for baby tornado, Give it the right stance with 145 and 165 (Or 155 and 185-15) on red and polish 8 spoke and it will be just right  Wink

Any pics of the dashboard and interior?

if it's a 68 then the rear decklid is wrong, it's a 70 model. Ditch it (it's really ugly) and get the right one for the year...

Color coded bumpers will be ugly too imo, and red empis too.. Sorry JF, i hate 80's look...

I have to agree Roll Eyes But I don't mind the 4 vent decklid, just loose the gay air brushing!

Not sure what year it is, don't have the papers yet... I have the 4-row decklid and a 2-row spare.
Bumpers will be chromed ones, and 8-spokes either black or antracite.

As far as I know they are 1970, maybe 1971 as well, cabrio decklids.

I'm not of a fan of 80's euro look (There is some very nice 80's cal look, but here in Europe it seems that was not a good period  Roll Eyes ). But, if it is the theme of the car, I think it's a way to go  Grin

Tried some more little stuff this weekend... what do you guys think?
Painted headlight rings and indicators, or chrome ones.  Imagine a chrome bumper with them.

Maybe no bumper at all? Just like Kris Klingaman's...

I like the painted headlight rim but not too fond of the painted turn signal...

I put in a motor for running around the first months, ride height is now acceptabel.
Also removed the rear bumper, and I think it will remain bumperless  Cool
Notice the (badly) filled exhaust cut outs, holes from badges etc...
If anyone has a lead for some cheap baby turbo mirrors, let me know!

Since the first snow fell yesterday, we thought it was a good idea to start and put some doors on the workshop.
