Do they fit on an early bug (63 short axle) with 205/70 tyres?

Had them on the back of my 63 with 205-65's, short axles. No clearance issues.

I used to run 215/65s on 6.5 inch Flat 4 BRM on the rear.. no clearance problem.   Smiley

hi Lee.

Not sure if this helps. One pic has stock 5.5 I think, BRMS, the other the wider ones.

They seem to fit fine without clearance issues. I run with type 3 rear drums and stock wings.

I was bidding on a pair on ebay from vw heritage, someone out bid me with 6 seconds to go Cry

DeanoVW has a set of flat 4s for sale. I don't think they are 6.5s though
