No, the reverse gear held up remarkably well!

OK, OK... let's get this straight. Note the car only goes FORWARD into the water. Reverse gear NOT selected at any time by driver. Car even has a trigger shifter to (supposedly) prevent accidental selection of reverse... Driver moves lever over to left and back to select second gear for burnout (not enough power to do it in third...) and drops clutch. Box is in reverse... Sounds like bad car prep to me. Driver now suing owner and "mechanics"** for loss of dignity.


** "mechanics" originated from the Colonies. Enough said.

Anyway dont blame the team or the tools, a little di off the clutch to check wouldnt have been a bad thing !
