I have my 15x4.5 and 15x7 wheels being detaled by Al Reed and will mount them on my chop top soon.  Also, finishing up the assembly of the new IDA topped 2276 motor. Looking to do some road trips in 2009 in the car.

My girlfriend got me a Birth Certifacate for my '67 from Wolfsburg, but they've sent details of a different car!
So if you have a '67 1300, originally Savanna Beige and shipped to Ramsgate with chassis number ending in 130.... I might have your certifacate!

That's cool! Have you seen some of the large scale lego F1 cars? One of my customers up north had a large scale lego kit of a Brabham/BMW F1 car... working suspension, crank/rods/pistons, limited slip, etc.... man I wish I was a kid again.

I got a new 12" drill press.  Cool

You don't have to be a kid to build these cars! In fact, the Lego box mentions the age "16+"

The Bug is nicely detailed. Doors, hood and decklid open. So does the glove box door! Shifter moves and even the generator/crank pulleys spin!

Does it drop exhaust valves after 60,000 miles?

Shifter moves
Doesn't come with a Berg five-speed then...

Lids, you'll love the power file! Awesome bits of kit! Machine mart do the belts.

I got the Cal Look Book (read it from cover to cover already), Flat Four t-shirt, catalogue and sticker from when my brother was in Japan on business a fortnight before Christmas, and various little VW toys and stuff. I'll buy myself some more stuff in the new year!
