If you gonna lie, spread it thick. there is a sucker born everyday. Where are the dynocharts? Most people confuse decibel with horsepower. A 1200 without a muffler could actually pass as a 150 hp stroker.

Yes I would be surprized if it made 400 hp,
but if you have ever driven a supercharged flat 4 you can be sure that it "feels like 400".

My 1775cc drag motor made around 275.
It ran 10.65@127 in a 1750lbs car.
In the USA that is probably 400 Kiss(sorry guys, Aussies are big down under).

Yeah, I was never impressed by the supercharged drag engines (ACVW) Of course they gave good bottomend and midrange torque. but to this day I have not seen a sub 2 liter "blown" ACVW make over 280 hp. And the one that did, set the owner back with a substansial chunk of bills before he even got to that point. A well set up turbo 1914 for drag will easily make that kind of power. And you do not even need that many exotic parts to do it.
(Frallan  Co built a blown dragster some years back. But I´m not sure what that was.)

I think you'd need to be from Texas (or at least be wearing a shirt from there) to brag about things being big... Grin Grin Grin
