Im currently torn between two engine sizes

2276 or 2165?

Now iv already got 94mm b&ps (stroker) so its this or a smaller size, which im not too sure what it is?

Iv heard that 94mm with the 82mm crank can very hot but then heard otherwise.

Is there a noticable difference in the 2165 and 2276 except for the obvious CC size,.............. tempreture or anything like that?

Im think its gonna be a sort of daily come weekend day car so tempreture was my main worry for long distances.

Any advice would be nice

(Btw John If you see this i was gonna ask you to-day but we didnt get chance)

 Wink

cheers

Over the pond opinion....

I say go with a 2276 for sure.
It will roughly cost the same money to build and will give you a noticable improvement in Torque.
Easily 5-10hp increase in the whole powerband.
The few mm of extra stroke won't be much worse than a 2165 as far as heat goes. You are already super large compared to stock. A few more MM isn't going to be the breaking point...
As long as you are making extra cooling provisions for a 2165, then a 2276 will work too.

The added torque of the motor will allow you not to run it so hard for normal driving. You can keep your gearing conservative. You won't regret it....
And, when you want the power... Nothing compares to a 2276 Beast.
I never met a slow one...
