Here are some pics of mounting the Simca seats.....

Thanks for the pics Paulus  Wink.
Will you mount a kind of system to have access to rear seats ? Or there will be no rear seats ? Grin.

There will be no rears seats indeed !  Cool  This car must be at a low weight......  Roll Eyes

This is going to be a nice interior with the cage and simca seats. But if the plan is to attach the seatbelts to the bar so low, I would change it. If you ever crash the car, god forbid, the seatbelts will compress your spine. Not good. The inclination of the seatbelt to the back should be at an inclination no more than 10°

Good work Paulus, and not as much rust as there could have been! Better to deal with that than other peoples bad repairs! Smiley

Update  Grin:

@ The painter

The 2017 powerplant  Cool:

Now i have a question about the carb size for the engine.
The engine is fitted with a Scat c45 cam, 044 Cnc round ported heads with a 3 angle valve-job, 1 1/2 Gene berg exhaust system, Msd 6al and 2x 40mm weber IDF.

What about the carbs? Stick to the 40mm webers and fit them with 36 vents? Or swap them for 44mm webers with 36 vents?
Whats gona make the differents between them?

Greetz!

go for 44 IDF's or 48 IDA's, 40IDF's work Ok with a 1914, but it will restrict a bigger engine.

i also would suggest 42DCNFs, but that is probally just me.

But he is going to use the '36s vents out of a 44weber, that wouldn't make a diffence in the end? am i correct? or are emulsiontubes etc different also?

Thanks Nice holidays!
