The Wedge was a place for the very brave and skilled to test their luck with Mother Nature. I remember one day in particular where the surf was estimated at 23 feet and broke over the rock jetty as in the video. There were only a handful of guys in the water and a huge crowd on the beach eagerly awaiting the next wipe-out.... unbelievable. Can I get a beer? |
