Yeah, it was a vinyl, I think it was just to cover some damage but not sure?

They did it to cover up the welding after installing a new hot rearwindow in place of the smal oval window it used to have.
AND it was a GOOD kick in the side to Mopars Mucle cars, that came with a option called MODTOP.

imho flowers aren't cal look, and pinstripes neither.
those modtop mopars even sported some groovy interiors, check this out
