Has anyone recently replaced the door glass channel felts on a split? I'd love to know where they got them and if they fit well. Thanks.

Jonny @ Java searched high and low for scrapers for a customers '50. He found out they were the same as a pre '57 bonnet seal(side pieces cut down) and make some holes for the wire retainer

Thanks for the info. I am really in need of the felts channels, though. Any thoughts? It is not a restoration, I just want them to work correctly.

Ricardo does do a lot of split parts. Nice thing is that he tests them out thoroughly first.

Hey Neil, thanks a bunch! It looks like a tough job to do. I had what were thought to be NOS felts, but they don't follow the contour of the glass or door well at all. Thank goodness it's not a 100 point restoration car!
Again, I really appreciate the tip!
