Yes, the car belongs to Steve from Steve's vw shop in Zaffelaere Belgium.  it's a 66 if I'm correct.

Sorry Peach, no facts but a nice story of the birth of Fast Scrap.

Let's turn back the time seven years.
Location: Lège-Cap Ferret, campsite

It was the first time that I saw Fast Scrap. Steve flat towed it from Belgium to the southwest of France. Under the decklid nothing more than a longblock.
I couldn't believe my eyes when Steve and some friends set up a tent directly besides the shower facilities, pushing fast Scrap under the tent and starting to assemble the engine. They worked until late night and I guess the following day as well. When it came to the racing event on saturday Fast Scrap was up and running.

That was VERY impressive - at least for me!

it is indeed Steve's trackcar. i think it could be out in just a few days work, not sure if he can manage to find those few days to do the work though... busy guy. he probally can/will tell us some stories about it.
