What a fantastic sleeper! Has it been restored? Engine specs? It looks like stock brakes with drop spindles up front? |

Seeing Steve's car makes me want to raise my front end a little and put some taller tyres on the back. But with my dual carb 36 hp my '58 is never gong to be a sleeper even if it will now keep up with a stock 1600...... |

 Looks the goods doesn't it?
Do it Richard, I just got 185/80R15s for the back of mine, and although I have only dummied them up, they look great! They would look even better on an early.

The presentation thread should be here somewhere    All that work for only 159hp. Cool car for sure but there is no reason for going turbo unless you aim higher. -BB- |

yes, i'm agree... it's the power of my 1585cc, i just like the "concept"..very clean sleeper, big engine... a little harm also for the dashboard

Think mine will be a sleeper got a 2l type 4 to go in, should handle pretty well too - 5.5" steels with vredestein sportracs all round, dropped spindles, eccentric camber nuts, HD anti roll bar, disc brakes, camber compensator etc.. Maybe more of a "German look" sleeper than a "cal look" |

I never been a fan of chromies and nipple caps, but they suit your car perfectly! Very nice! |
