Hi guys!
Does anyone know where I still can get a new replacement muffler of the type stated above? It has the "large" flange, 3bolt, rounded shape, the top bolt on the "12:00" position. Thunderbird doesn´t produce this version any more, but I´d like to keep my ceramic coated header. I already contacted a bunch of dealers, but they couldn´t help me further Sad
I need the "Thunderbird" one as this one is mentioned in my vehicles´documents to keep it street legal.
So does anyone have a hint for me? Thanks!

I'm sorry i can't help you, but if you find it i'll be interested too! I have a 12 o'clock header too and you don't see many mufflers for it.

Btw, is it ceramic coated, or ...?

Hi Gregor, try it by ssp! I think they will have a Dualquite Muffler in ceramic coated that looks like the Thunderbird one! i think you can have it in a merged version and for standard Headers!

@67-indeed:
The single quiet mufflers for the standard "large" flanges are still available at Custom & Speed Parts in Germany, e.g. They are available in a standard black or a ceramic coated version:
Check out
www.customspeedparts.de
and then go to "e-shop".
@Sven: I´ll check that, thanks!

...same as me  Wink
Maybe I´ll go for the 35mm one and modify the flange to match my 38mm header. As I´d like to have the black one, it should be possible to repaint it after welding...

Hi all,

if the position of the small flange is the problem then why not cut it off, twist it and re-weld it? On a non-ceramic-coated muffler that´s no big deal!
Bye,

...I think the "Large" flange has different distances between the three bolt holes-so it needs to be replaced. But as mentioned-I´ll reweld it and that´s it.
