While searching the www for stuff about Front Engine Dragsters I found this nice video on youtube.

It's a 1971 U.S. film. Very rare and seldom seen, youth-oriented racing movie featuring Deborah Walley. It's the story of a young man's efforts to get a ride in a top fuel dragster.

This might be from interest for a certain car nut from Scotland... Roll Eyes

Amazing.... Did you notice the drag race between the VW and the Oldsmobile? Guess who that was in the VW? Ron Fleming! That was the Under Dog #2!..... I/Gas within 1/100 of the national record.

I have a copy of this film but can't watch it yet due to I have it on vintage 16mm film !
I'm going to buy a dvd copy asap, so I can see Underdog II !

when she goes for a walk she passes another vw but not sure what/who that is working on the engine..
