I can't remember if his car had the standard door windows or one piece. But that car looks exactly like it. He had it sitting in his driveway, not running, a year or two before I was old enough to get my driver's license. I wanted that car so bad... but he wouldn't sell to me or my best friend, Bob. I wanted to paint it orange and redo the interior brown or black. At one point, it has Centerline wheels, too. One day, we were riding our bikes past his house and the car was gone forever. A year later ('79), I bought my '66.

That was Souter's car on Del Amo, just east of Clark. Marc's 67 was the first car that I ever saw equipped with buggy bumpers back in the day... I still like 'em & plan on custom building a set for my project Oval. Side note- somehow, back in the day I ended up with the amber Lucas light lenses off Marc's '67... yeah, I know big deal ;) ~DR.
