This is my 51 dragstyler

It is cool! My split (Jan 1951) hasn't got crotch coolers either - don't think they came in til April or so!

The vehicle is built on 16.05.1951 and has no ventilation
is a standarmodell
58 mm shorter adjustable front axle, rear original
Porsche 356 rims 145/65-15 205/70-15
34 ps gearbox
T aluminum bars
empi quick shifter
conversion rate of lever on telescopic shock absorbers
racetrim seat, alu doorpaneels, tiger saefty belt 
cofa gas absorbers
Bonnet up

I have the car bought in 1997 in Austria

in the next winter he gets new repro fenders with original tail lights.
an 63 plate with disc brake an the 365  super 75 engine from porsche, hot camshaft , 40 Empi Carburetor, exhaust stinger and without cooling fans, only 1 / 4 mile

a roll cage, roll controll, staging brake, and I hope ERCO wheels with slicks.

Then I have another 63 to build it for pure drag racer

Last night in the workshop

Preparation for the drag day in bitburg ( Sept. 19 - 20 ) DDD#7

new fenders (repros are lighter than original)

The new racing tank (from a honda scooter)

Today, the engine comes out to facilitate the flywheel to

then a merged header

possibly bring the rocker 1:1.25 ( probably the wat  ? )

a 2074 ccm with engle FK 87, 1 :1.4 Rockerarm, GB 870 heads, Aj Sims Header, 48 IDAs, straight cuts, 58 gr lifters, fulll flow and more.


Mabye 170 - 180 PS ??

We had unfortunately an oil leaking that we could not repair in the event


Full flow port on the housing with mega oil pressure

work until 2011 bitbug must

but a 17 082 mile to the 1 / 4 with the 1192 cc race motor

15'sec is 100% possible with that setup, i've ran a 14,7sec with stock floor and 1776cc IDA engine.

I am working hard for the 15 s

the first 400 km the engine now running on the streets and this has survived without problems

in the 1302's by my woman   ;D

with a nice 34 mm single carburetor and 35 mm  bugpack header

but has served to destroy the gearbox bearing   8) 8)

Zack and pulled down the drive shaft  :-\

then in the slalom on the strip and at the 1 / 4 meter photocell still 72.82 mph  :o

still a cool weekend
