The Javabug is in pieces so I loaned him a driver for the day Wink Mike Hauer, his main man Jack and I saddled up my two bugs and took them on a cruise to a little VW get together at our local Quaker Steak and Lube. Weather was perfect and the cars were running great. Turnout was low but we didn't care much.....

A little ride along in my 67 following my buddy Al's 2110 57 out of town!

You bet I did.  And that convertible is a true pleasure to drive.  Here's the few shots I got.

You know what's truly sexy in that shot loading Jack into the car?  That garage door!  Man, whoever painted that did a great job!   Cool

Thanks guys it was a simple fun day. I might still get a chance to sneak it to the track if the weather holds out a few more weeks.

That car has had Empi fives, and BRMs. The Ansens are my favorite look on it by far!

Hey guys. Nice cruise. Cars sound sweet.
Yeah, it sounds rad inside with all that gear noise.
Can't wait until you get it all tuned-in at the track.

I love the way you PA guys do it "old school".
