Ok guys I would like your input please , keep or lose the stickers ?
this pic was 3yrs ago , its still the same today , been thinking about it on and off for a while
also if I can be brave enough , im thinking of
" Ian clarkeing" the wheels
90% decided
but wanted to see your points of view

OK the stickers are cool -- just not on the car ----------

Get you a new window and put it in the car and carefully remove the one with stickers and mount it on you garage wall and save it for prosperity -- one day someone will offer you big bucks for it

I don't know what 'Ian Clarkering' is and I've got a suspicion I won't like it

I like the stickers.  Grin
Dunno much about any "look", authentic or not, but on a streeter with a deep exhaust and a bit of a lope, they always make me smile, whether the car is an 11sec street V8 or a nearly stock mini.

I had two round cal-look.com stickers in my quarter windows many years ago. It looked good then. I got tired of it and had zero stickers on my car for about six years or so. Recently I put three, small, water transfer decals in the quarter windows. They fit the overall look very well and will stay there until I get tired of them.

My point of this post? Do what you want. Experiment, try new stuff. Scrape the dumb stickers off. Don't like the bare look? Add some decals. Put a gray finish on the wheels. Looks like shit? Sell them, buy brms, torkers, etc.

Clean it up Wink I got two of my stickered windows lying around in the garage these days. Got tired of them, eventually, but didn't have the stomach to peel off all that history.

Clarkening the ERCOS? NO NO NO! It didn't look good on Ians car, and sure won't look any better on Yours. ERCOS and DDS's are some of the most beautiful wheels around, for any car, in their original shape.

If it were mine . . . my club sticker in the front lower corner of the quarter window is enough. I probably would not have any of the others ESPECIALLY if the car is not using that eqipment! (unless it's from a paying sponsor!)

Your wheels look GREAT as they are . . . there's NO WAY you will be able to improve them!

Oh, and the rest of your car looks really good!

If it were mine the stickers would go... most stickers I ever had on my car were a DKK sticker on each rear 1/4, a cut out Weber sticker so it was just a red W with an underline                                                                     bottom of the rear window and a Cal-State Fullerton parking sticker on the windshield (required).

I also had some stickers on the quarter windows, but I get rid of them some times ago. It looks so much cleaner without them.
Nice car BTW.

Remove all of the stickers... unless you're in a VW club. Then, just one or two of those.

As for the wheels, they would look great with a dulled finish. But most people like them highly polished. Its your car and your choice. Long as you're happy with the overall look.
