hi guys,

First of all I want to say that I'm not an administrator here or that I call the shots here, it's just a thougt of a member.  Tongue

A few weeks ago there was a topic: "hood badges"  I realy like hoodbadges but I don't have a clue where you order these + how much it costs.  Probably you have to pay a setup cost for 1 example and then you pay xx € /piece.  Since I'm not realy a member of a vw club I would have to produce just one or maybe two hoodbadges and that would probably to expensive...
So I was thinking that maybe we can design a cal-look.no hoodbadge and find other enthousiasts to lower the cost and form some sort of a "club" worldwide...

So if any of you find this a good idea please reply to this topic and maybe we can work something out.

I don't have a clue where they can produce these hoodbadges, so every tip is welcome...

Any graphic designers here??   Grin  Grin

Hope to find other enthousiasts!

I have actually looked into this because I want to do one for my '67. There are several places here in the states that will copy your design to a brass badge for a couple hundred bucks. Of course, the more you order, the less they are per piece. I have decided to do one that is a take off of the Hot Rod "Lone Wolf, No Club" plaques from the '50's. I just have not had time to find a graphic designer. Not what your looking for I know.

how about licenseplate frames??? i have been thinking about that as well. probally more people could have it on there car as it is a bolt-on item and would not interfere with club badges and Karmann's and type3's have different sizes. and you wouldn't let them out, would you  Grin.

i thought something subtle with the callook.no/lounge logo and the "it's a Cal Look thing - you wouldn't understand"- quote on it as well.

just an idea... i know berner makes frames but i have no prices, i could ask the dealerif he stops by.

Interesting topic, but before we decide on what item we will order, we need to find out what its going to say/ what the "lounge" is to people.
Does "www.cal-look.no" have anything to do with it? And what do we call this place? "The Lounge" or the "cal-look Lounge"?
Any ideas for a logo for the Lounge?

I was thinking of something vintage off course.  I like the style of the greenhearts hoodbadges, who made these?  I suppose a company somewhere in England…?
