The long awaited DVD covering the AMAZING SCC 2008 event is CLOSE to release!!!...perhaps even in time for Santa to pick up a copy or two to each of us Cal-Look afficiandos  !

Sounds nice to have something for christmas. When the snow is faling down outside(?) and santa working his ass of, we can sit down for a moment, relax and dream of the warmer season that fullfill our lifes.......

By the way, the membership in the V-dubs will be there soon. I promise Have read about your weekly meetings and whant to join, byt the time don´t require that for the moment.

Earlier today I gathered my raindeer and took the sled for a ride over to the "SCC Studio"  ... All I can say after sneak previews is - It's going to be a 2+ hr DVD capturing not only ALL the fastest/record runs on the strip, the "historic" scene (kubels, schwimms etc etc), show&shine, pit-talk/interviews but great editing capturing the feeling of the greatest VW happening 2008  !

Not making any promises, but it looks like shipping will start by end of next week

I have just parked my sled and fed my raindeer after returning from a visit to the "SCC Studio" ....UPDATE:

The 2008 Scandinavian Cal-look Classic DVD is a 2 Disc DVD!
The DVD is in English or with English subtitles (2+ hours of pure joy!)

Disc 1
Starts in a laidback way on Friday, getting to know the crowd, getting an insight in the event “coming alive”, drooling over new cars arriving etc.
Saturday: Starts with Show/Shine and interviews (Thanks Monkiboy, Woffe and many others) . Over to drag racing with coverage from 4 different cameras/angles, interviews – Wheel standing action all day long!!
We have interviews with 4 of The Belgians, 5 Swedes, 5 Norwegians, 3 Danish
dynamites, The 2 flying Finns: Jyrki Laine and Jussi, Ron Lummus, Ritchie
Webb, Russel Ritchie, Peter Köhmann and more. Order Now and we send  Disc 1
at the end of this week, and then we send Disc 2 within 1-3 weeks with no
extra charge!!!

Disc 2 is from Sunday’s activities, We have finished a 30 minute
Vintage-Special with interviews – Kubelwagens, Schwimmwagens, Splits, Buses,
Hebmullers and more. We still have to edit some Sunday morning follow ups on
racers spending all night repairing broken goods (Joran,Erik,Stian beware!) and then the Sunday races, Price ceremony and a Bonus from the 2008 Dyno Day @ JPM!
