Just curious as to who is planning on attending Bug In 34 this year?  I'm still in the planning stages... Debating whether to go or whether to save money to put into the car.  If I were to pick one meet to go to all year long (which is usually the case, given the isolated town in which I live), Bug In would be the one, no doubt.  Has anyone heard if they're doing the Saturday night mixer the night before again?  Shop open houses the day before the meet, DKP Nick's cruise, etc?

I figure it's never too early to get the fire lit for Bug In...Grin

I'm dying for another trip west.  However, I'm in this boat as well:

go or save money to put into the car.

I'm going to be needing a beefy transmission in the near future, and they ain't cheap.   Undecided

My dad and I will be coming out in my '69.

Last year was a blast, we finished the motor the night before and broke it in on the drive to cali from Phoenix. Awesome.

I'll probably make it again.  Sure hope the get the spectator entry issues resolved.  I hate waiting in line for an hour just to park my car.

I am thinking about attending. I might even drive down in my 56 with my dad.

I would also like to know if they got the parking lot situation solved for our small vw show Roll Eyes

The DKP Friday deal is still in the works, but not etched in stone as we have yet to talk to the owner of Nick's about the date.

Well, nothing's set in stone yet...lol.  Truth be told, I'd kill to have my car done and ready for the drive... it's always more fun to show up in a VW.  But that's light years away from happening at this point.  Grin
