What size and brand are the rear tires on the blue 64 bug behind sarge's car (last photo posted as of now)? That car looks really good with the combo it has (popouts, wheels/tires, vert decklid etc) Smiley. It seems like more guys build the 65 and up cars and you  don't see as many pre 65's.

He's got 155 tires up front... forgot which profile. And the backs are huge. 215 or some big size like that. John? Jim? Beuller? Anyone?

Actually I'd be interested in finding out the front tire size as well if someone knows it. I don't really like the 145's I have (but they are way better than the old 135's Grin) so I am thinking about putting more rubber under my car and making it more "original" and drivable. I am getting burnt out always seeing the cars dropped with 6" narrowed beams (or whatever!) and the sump and exhuast 2" off the ground. Slowing down for manhole covers and driveways sucks!  Roll Eyes

Just hung up the phone with John regarding some other business. I asked him about the tires and he said that the fronts are 155/70/15. I personally like 'em on his car and dig the contact patch that they have.

Sorry, Sarge... didn't realize that you had already answered this question regarding the rear tires. John just told me that, too. D'OH! Speakin' of barley pop... I'm gonna go have one now. Been working on all three cars since 3pm.

Cheers!

Play nice, now.
