how cool is this?!
Paul Schley just sent me this blown-up cover of Ultra he had made, signed by himself and his brother, Mark, Lee Leighton and Ron Fleming!

they also included a signed copy of the mag, which also included Rick Sadler's signature, too!
I'm made up - they're both going on my workshop wall with my other memorabilia!!!

thanks guys, but it's really me (us) who should be thanking you for making it all happen!!

sorry for the self-indulgence - just had to share that, as it's really made my day!

Between that mag and the clock on the wall I'm starting to wonder if you're a midget Paul!

Wink

Hows Jim's notch btw? He never did give me that race... Action? York? Wink

ha! yeah, we start them young in these parts  Grin

kaferboy, jim's notch is running real nice, and is 'road legal' (well, as close as it's ever going to be, with a spool, lexan windows, huge rear wing, single seat etc!) for the first time in more than 10 years! he took it to the local hot rod night last night and had some fun Wink
he was the only brit racing at spa and had a real good return-to-racing meet - he's over the moon.
it'll be at vw action for the night racing.. after all, it has 'street-legal' lighting now! see you there?

You will mate... has he booked a ppd ticket for the Drag Day or has he hoodwinked in some other way? Wink  Its cheaper than RWYB (£40 for night racing, PP on Sunday and the and he'll get pitside camping/parking. Or is he still in the DRC? Let me know if he/you need any info re: tickets.

I bet its a handful with a spool oin the street!

Seeya next weekend.
