Although these Datsuns are pretty darn bitchin', we can't let them "one up" our cool little Nicks hang out!   Just saw this thought I should share. Pretty cool huh. I think those Datsuns are cool – it's great to see 'serious' ricers, rather than all the Too Fast, Too Spurious crap. Would be kinda neat to do a joint venture, considering the EMPI connection. Maybe the right side of the lot for the Datsuns, left side for the DKP guys, all for charity...  |

WOW, never knew empi made stuff for some datsun models. As I'm a bit of a datsun fan I really like it! A Z car is always nice and even better with empi parts! |

I was there last spring with 50 nova's for a get together. I always liked the 70's datsun pick em ups, although I had a 84. jim |

Never been a fan of Japanese cars. The only ones that ever mattered were the 510 and the first 240Z cars. Yeah, seen EMPI stuff for those over the years. They made small (13", I think) 8 spoke wheels. Used to see a few cars with them back in the '70s.
So... when did Datsuns make the Cal Look list? (coughOFFTOPICcough)

You think any of these Datsun guys even know about EMPI? If they're under the age of 40, no. If they're younger and DO know... kudos to them. Those individuals need to step up to a Cal Look VW.
