Yes no probs the tow rope is a softy softy so totally unmarked!  We figured your car without the engine in was about the same weight as mine but to be fair could still have been a bit heavier

I figure your car

Interesting indeed.  Gonna have to look into that as the quad is the only one that fits in the split with all our other stuff.  If I can just give her some more grunt I'd be on a winner.  The auto clutch and the engine torque are definitely the weak points.  Maybe also if I can somehow change the gearing.  Not sure how things work with the chain drive and a bigger motor.  I see a winter project coming on....

Phil, I bought Steve a quad when we were crewing for Spencer. It fit perfectly in the Split even with all the interior cupboards etc It was also bigger than yours. We were going to try it with out bug but sold the quad before we finished it. I think it was abou £250 new off Ebay, i'll get Steve to check. Im not sure if it would be able to tow as above we neevr got round to trying but it was 'beefier' than yours but still able to fit it in !

phil my sides are splitting Smiley thats so funny, did you damage your balls? on the first pull!!
did you know that you can change the gearing? the smallest front gear is 6tooth and the rear you can get as big as you like before it touch the floor, it would be very cool to make it work, if that dosent work there is also a redution gearbox that goes on the engine where the slipper cluch goes , thay use the reduction box on the mini motocross offroaders for the hills and such,
good luck mate.

this it the reduction box you can buy it seperatly

gearing, you must cheque the type that you have(thread m8 m10 type ect...)

Actually I got very lucky and didn't smash anything soft!  I know precisely bugger all about mini quads so this is all v. useful.  I can see I've got to start learning then will definitely have a go at changing sprockets to see if she works.

front and rear sprocket are the first things to do, (£15) rember smallest at the front biggest at the rear will give you more pulling power, good luck mate.
