CSP recommends welding the torque bar brackets on a HD tranny mount as the stock mount is a weak design. Also use anti seize on the threads.

http://www.csp-shop.de/technik/pdf/deeng/20917.pdf

page 6.

they recommended this

http://www.csp-shop.de/cgi-bin/cshop2/front/shop_main.cgi?func=det&wkid=106807709539&rub1=Transmission&rub2=Transmission%20Brackets&artnr=15740a&pn=0&sort=&all=

Vee Dub parts and CIP don't carry this.

Would this Bugpack unit be the equivalent? or anybody sells something similar?

thanks

Make sure your exhaust is fitted before you weld, I didn't and mine interfered with it.  I used any HD mount, I have even seen people weld to the frame horns.

I used an EMPI mount (part number 00-9543-0) that still uses stock style transmission mounts. Definitely use lots of anti-seize. I didn't and I had to buy another torque bar because the threads disintegrated when I took it apart.

Thanks just found vdub does carry the HD craddle, they call it quiet mount something, already placed order just now. csp also recommends  using a mid mount with these bars. Very nice instructions.
