Nico, I'm really liking the wheels with the polished outer lip and sand blasted spokes. Too bad we don't live closer... I'd blast 'em for ya. Free of charge. Well... maybe a bottle of Chimay.

Post up some images if/when you ever get those done, please.

That would have been so cool ! 'cause I have everything we need at home.

A question to the "old" ( Grin) guys :

Any infos about the center caps on the Riviera back in the days ? on early thin-lip/fat-lip and late ? What was original or the most common ?

I'm interested by this : http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=990869

The ones above in the second, close up pic could be hubcaps too. They were also offered as a dealer accessory.

Unlike Donny, I've always liked them. I've even got 'em on my '69 however I fully polished them instead of keeping the cast spoke. To each his own.

Nice, looks good!  Do they have the same offset as Empi 8 spokes?  I've got dropped spindles and am limited as to what I can run due to offset issues and ball joint clearance on the bottom.

If you are talking about the aftermarket Empi style 8 spokes, I believe they have a more shallow offset. Depending on your tire size, you may have rubbing issues wiht dropped spindles unless you narrow your beam. I don't believe the original 2-piece Empi's have as deep of an offset but I'm not sure. Narrow your beam 2" and you'll be fine , even with front disks.
