We have found this Ford distributor Cap,which fits perfecly Bosch standard SVDA,009,010,011 and other stock style distributors(Alfa Rome 33 Bisch system which fits on Bug with a shaft distancer). It and allows the use of excellent MSD ignition cables/wires or you can even use cheaper CB Magnaspark cables.

What are your thoughts, would you run MSD wires on stock style distributor?I have them fitted to my bug,and it works flawlessly, even with points.Sparks are more accurate.
Some of my friends have found this stock style silicon wires crappy.

Originally it is intended for use on Ford Granada 1.8,2.0 & Sierra 1.8,2.0
Cap Bosch Part number:  1 235 522 374
Ford Part number: 6 146 423
Facet(replacement) number: 2.7530/5PHT

You can find Bosch original or Facet reproduction distributor caps.

MSD makes wires that fit on the stock (009) cap, I used them years ago on my '67. I think I had to rob the seals off of another set of plugs, though.
