Any events in Southern California during July????

Hello all, A question for the SO-CAL crew....Are there any Cal-look/VW events during July that I could plan our family vacation around? I am graduating from grad school in May and want a west coast pilgrimage to celebrate with some skateboarding and VW's. Doesn't have to be anything big, even a cruise-in would be cool. Thanks Mike

I can't find any major VW events on the July calender (any promoters out there reading this?? ).

DKP meetings are held the first Sunday of the month at Nick's and I'm sure you would both be welcomed there. Maybe someone can post the firm date, but looking at the calender it would be on July 1st.

The July Bug's for Breakfast is slated for the second Saturday of the month July 14th.

Don't forget the NHRA museum. They also have cruise nights during the summer and there will be one there on July 11th...

I can think of half a dozen VW shops/manufactures who with an appt. would be happy to give you the nickel tour. Especially if you bring something edible/drinkable.

Mike, there is always Cars & Coffee on Saturday mornings and if you want I'll give you a private tour of some great American Iron that will even impress a VW guy.  No not my cars, but the person I share our building with has about 17 WORLD CLASS cars there.  You know how to contact me via a PM.

Yes I am going to North California July 8-28. And during this time I will be in south Calfornia for x number of days around the 11th I believe. Not all decided yet.

Thanks for the compliment, why is my face so red after reading this??  Actually I'm just a regular guy who has played with cars (many different brands) all of my life and thankful to still be in the game.

Trond,  my offer of the tour is also available to you or anyone else that comes to our part of the world and has an interest.  The other thing I didn't mention is five of my cars are also stored there and the others are only a few miles away at home which would also be available to see and maybe go for a ride should there be an interest.
