I even like the bumpers (somewhat anyway)

Of course, I like buggy bumpers too...

Rayburn USED to run a decklid just about like that one many moons ago Roll Eyes

Ha!
I just remembered why I liked the bumpers... I built some black powdercoated bumpers that looked just like them years ago for a full bodied convertable Baja we built in the shop...

Sorry, I Had to share that useless info with ya'.

That car is pretty cool. The only thing I dont like is the front fender louvers. The stance is nice, im not a big fan of a cartoonish rake or cars that are too low in the front.

I like it, in a different sort of way. Just needs a set of long axles!

Louvers on the decklid look cool, but not those on the fenders and the glove box lid. Not a big fan of the exhaust, the idea is nice but the proportions look strange to me. I guess this car has short axles, it could really use to have the wheel further out in the rear arch. Overall itīs a nice car though.
Did we have a thread about this car about a year ago?

Pat was (is) always known as 'too tall', so it's quite amusing that he should choose a Bug as his daily! He's about 6ft 3in tall (er, I guess that's just under 2 metres), so must have been a tight fit with stock(-ish) seats. Cheesy

I stood next to Pat G a couple of weeks ago, and he is definitely taller than 6'3"! I'm 6'5" (1.94m) and I'm sure he's around 6'8" (2m)!
