Hi all.
Newbie to the lounge making my introduction Embarrassed
Been in aircooled circles for a decade or more and I have to admit heavily into old busses being my thing, although I've had a few beetles along the way.  It wasn't until a certain anthresite grey cal looker turned up at a mates wedding that I was stopped in my tracks. Before then all Cal look meant to me was dodgy invalid blue bugs on 8 spokes with a chrome script on the engine lid Shocked
3 E-bug-ins later and a copy of Mr Seumes latest and I finaly have to admit.......I've got it bad.
So, here I am. I've a small window unwelded bug in the garage waiting for the treatment (don't want to rush it) and I just know of all the old VW's I've built over the years, this one just has to be done right.
I might ask some daft questions to start with but please bear with me.... Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed
Oh and as for the Speedwell logo.......I liked it so much, I bought the company Wink

Greetings, Sinclair... and welcome to The Lounge. We all had to start somewhere, so feel free to ask questions. This place is a plethora of knowledge and many people that are willing to help.

By the way, you bought Speedwell? Cool, I was interested in a set of original BRM wheels so I can have a hose reel on all four sides of my house.

Speaking of Aussie import post 64's (but still small window cars) does anyone know what happened to Steve Inglis? I tried to contact him a few times but no luck. Is he still in the UK/still in the scene?

He's on here actually Jamie! Think he's registered as cal-look.net or something similar.
