What about if you have a 6V car and a hi-po motor? Will it work using the late model 6V starter and a 200mm flywheel?
Will it have enough torque to turn a 10,5 compression 2276?
A 6 volts starter on a 6 volts 67'... it's enough to star a 1776 cm3 ( a few years ago...almost 15
Y'a I'm old) whit this combo
69x 90,5/ Engle 110/ 1,25:1/ 200 mm flywheel 109 teeth ( -500 gr) / 2x solex 40PII-4 + Knetch/ 010… whit a CR like 9:1
Absolutely any kind of problem beside the bad general feed back on Solex’s 40 and 6 volts performance cars but for a 2276?
I think for a so big engine, the torque of the 6v starter have a lot of work to do =>
The inertia of the parts (the forged crank whit this counterweights + the rods + Forged pistons ), more the CR, …. I think its to limit
Sorry for my so poor English
