If I could I would pick you guys up at the airport but unfortunately I`m not able to help. But do not worry, there is a train service directly from Torp to Gardermoen Intl Airport and from Gardermoen we do have the SCC bus that can give you guys a ride to the event.

It takes 2h 23min from Torp to Gardermoen. Minimum price is 199 NOK - 20 GBP pr person one way. You should compare this to a rental car and be sure to check if your credit card company will give you a rental car discount. Visa have nice discounts. The roads from Torp to Gardermoen are excellent and the traffic should be good at this time. It will take a little shorter with a rental car compared to the train service. They had good  results using "vacuum suckers" on the rainy days before the Sunoco weekend. the blowers tend to heat up the track so it starts siphoning. but I think you guys has this 100% covered.
