looked everywhere on Web. I have the black and white pic from Excellence was Expected. I know there was an '88 or '89 issue of VW & Porsche that featured a red GT Speedster Carrera with cold air trays.
Anybody have pictures or maybe that magazine?

Ask Stephan - we just used a pic of a Carrera Speedster engine with air ducts on a feature of his for the January issue of Ultra VW.

Hey jim, Does the decklid seal around the carb ducts ? How about something ducted out the side of inner fender next to the carbs ?

yeah, you can kind of make out the rubber muffs on decklid "scoops"

I was thinking the same thing as you... a box that ducted air from fender wells to carbs, but screened/filtered.

i've teh car chopped , but don't find any roof scoop on the web to put on the roof  3/4 front right view

It would be badass to have the trays on the IDAs, some tubular ducts and functional louvers like the decklid like that red carrera. Imagine the sound from the outside with the carbs isolated like that Shocked
