I would say that photo was taken at the October 1972 Bug-In, whichever that one was (#?). If I look closely at this photo, it would appear that at this stage in Tar Babe's life, it still had raw aluminum interior panels, before they were red-on-black marble-anodized by George Industries. I can't recall that this moment what month Tar Babe was featued in Hot VWs.... That would jog my memory, as when it this photo was taken, because the panels were no anodized yet when Jere shot it. Help?
if you're looking the dashboard it's look  red  Roll Eyes

No Speedy,

The Panel are not Anodized yet in this Picture....

I have some Pics of the Anodized Panel work, looks totally different... Wink

Don't ask for the Pictures, i promised not to put them on the Internet... Tongue

Frank

Then why mention it?  Roll Eyes

While I was serching the web for the Fremont Dragstrip I found the picture below

Can anyone tell me, where Fremont is, if the Dragstrip is still there and why you never hear from this strip if it comes to Volkswagen?
I know that Underdog was raced there in '71 and it looked like a very simple facility.
