Luckily the car is safe and dry in the garage

And this is probably just the beginning. Last winter was extra ordinary long, perhaps we are seeing it all over again.

Nice scooter, Trond - better not let TomR take it for a "test ride"... Grin

Thanks for sharing the snow pics - your girls look like they're having a blast. Still no real snow here in Texas, but me and the family did some sledding on a man made snow hill while at Six Flags for "Holiday in the Park" yesterday.

You make an assumption it actually belongs to one of my daughters? Why do think not think TomR was paying me a visit yesterday? :-D

We've got several inches in the Midlands too. We should have buses coming past our house every 15 minutes or so, but I don't think I've seen one all day!

Yesterday evening we had 30cm of snow. This morning I woke up at 5am, looked at the temperature on the outsite : -18°C (-0.4°F)  Shocked

I spent 1/2 hour removing ice and freezed snow on my daily driver. I finally managed to get into the car, turned the key : for nothing. Battery was dead, and I was frozen...  Angry  Cheesy

...who wants to adopt me in California ?  Grin

Well I'm getting sick of this now. My Audi (2.5 turbo diesel 5-cylinder) won't start, I've got a cold, the water in my unit has frozen again (we've only just dried out after the flood from burst pipes a week ago) and the painter for my beetle has been called onto Jury service for the new year. I don't think I'm going to get the car on the road any time soon. Sad
