The rain that's been falling for a few hours this AM here in Texas is now turning to snow as the temps drop. The early morning forecast was for 1-3", but that was based on the cold front arriving later in the day.

I may have some new snow photos (and a day off from work Grin) tomorrow...

Yep - it's brutal!

if the wind hadn't blown it away, I could have scraped together one small snowball for the bottom third of a very mini snowman... Grin

Funny thing is that it has startes to snow in Oslo today. Not much though, only 4" the last hour or so. It is however very noticeable in the traffic, in the left lain people are taking it slow and follows the speed limit. In the right lain we have the Audi Quattros sliding and drifting past the slow traffic, a classic winter sign.

We've not got smow in the West Midlands, just some decent frost, which has covered the cars over by about 9pm. Not fun to drive to work in a Cal Looker with no heating... Cheesy

It's been two years since we last had snow in my part of the UK. We didn't get much last week, maybe three inches. I spent the weekend turning my drive into a luge run (it's pretty steep) for the kids. But I forgot I had to use the Volks out today. Man - I *hate* driving when there's salt everywhere. I'm sure I could hear my heater channels screaming  Embarrassed

So here's my drive (not much room for error. I could not walk up the slope it was so slippery):

And the Volks at the top:

And here's a sight you won't see often (and the reason I managed to get up that drive!):

Hopefully the snow melts quickly so I can get it back in the garage!
