So the new much awaitied magazine arrived today  Grin

Positives:

So first thing first, great its not a magazine it is more like a rodders journal, a paper back quality book.

The quaity of the pictures is amazing and the layout fresh, the print quality is very very good. I think my one must have been handled badly as the edges of the front cover are rough probaly from packing and shipping.

The features are well written and as its says its multi lingo......

The articles on the various shows are good and interesting.

Negatives:

Well there are only 2, the first one is down to my personnel taste;  some of the cars featured are not my cup of tea and the second - we have to wait 3 months for the next one  Wink

Conclusion:

Well done guys, it should be a sucess, i will be suscribing. The photograph and print quailty are superb.
Please keep it at 3 months and use the time to keep the quality high, it will be worth it.

A satisfied customer.  Grin

What is the best way for U.S. enthusiasts to get their "mitts" on one. Do the dealers have them yet?

Hopefully I'll be able to get a copy at a show.

The shipping costs are to steep for me sadly. Sad

But I will be able to look at the magazine before I actually buy it, which I'm happy about. Smiley

Very often I don't buy certain copies/ issues of Volksworld, because sometimes it has too many Vans & Buses (which I have NO interest in whatever) featured and the
Remaining content isn't of interest to me. So I like being able to look first and then decide.

I'm pleased that the initial responce is so positive, it means that the hard work and effort (let alone money) is justified and will be rewarded over time. Grin

See you at the NEXT EUROPEAN BUGIN!!! Summer 2011!

Hey all! Thanks for all the kind words!
Niels and I both put our heart and soul into the magazine! We wanted to make something like a Lets Play VWs for Europe and I think we've managed to get it upto the high standard we were shooting for, to be compared to the Rodders Journal is truely a fantastic compliment, thanks mr. R!

For those who are based in the USofA we're working on a solution, there is a big pallet with mags on the way to ISPwest. Once they have arrived there they will ship the magazines to our US subscribers or online buyers. They will also supply the us distributors that are listed on the AirMighty website. This way we can reduce the shipping and keep the price as low as possible... The dollar is not in your favour but we know that and we will establish a fair set price.

I just got back from a great roadtrip to buses by the bridge, took a part of the old route66 and got some great shots for the next issue!!!! We have a buch of cool cars lined up, stock, custom, vintage and yes Cal Look! Hopefully it will please everyone.

A VW magazine along the likes of TRJ would be great! Hopefully the price will be reasonable...

You just need to fill in more stuff to justify the mailing costs which in CSP's case is pretty easy  Grin

thanks Tero

that is right plse fill in all details

for instance we shipped 2 magazines to Thailand : 10,00 euro

we shipped 2 magazines and 5 Tshirts to Finland : 29,45 euro

shipping a magazine in Germany : 2,80 euro with a 7% tax level

so you see it all depends on where you live

thanks

for the people who live in France the magazine is available trough their webshop of www.serial-kombi.com and in the UK you can contact KarmannKonnection, T3D or VWHeritage and ad it to your order of parts that way the shipping cost becomes negligible

Germany go to CSP, Netherlands Paruzzi, Belgium BBT etc...

USA shipment is on it's way...

the list of distributors can be found on www.airmighty.com/megascene
