Is that color VW bright Orange from 1971? Looks alot like my old car. Look throught the classifieds for Big Bad Orange. You can see what your car will look like when its done
. Nice Job so far.

looks good but you still need to drill all the holes for the trim.
DAMN that's what i forgot!!
Car went from laurent's shop to Pat's to meet the chassis. Jjust a quick mock-up with a fuchs. I like it!! (and that's the understatement of the year!!)
Looks awesome

It's not bright orange, it's porsche bahama yellow. In real life, it's quite different from the pictures, darker, less bright orange! I've seen your car in the ads, looks great...

Nice job on the car, memories of it at the time it was finished, saw it at VW Mania think it was 99, can be wrong...
I painted my first bug in same kind of blue in the early 90's, a '68 resto cal with 5lug sprint stars bought from Kobus.
new color looks awesome on it, congrat's
Christophe
Added pic of my 68, was in Ninove, one of the first Freddy's Files. Long time ago.

The slow process of putting it all together is ongoing. Thanks to pat and the crew it's really going well, shell is on the pan, brakes are done, doors are almost complete...
This is taking a lot of hours, i spend an afternoon yesterday putting the 2 vent windows together, they're all satin black.. Nice!
Maybe i'm not the fastest guy but i try to do it well...

There'll be a load of satin black vent windows this season - I'm doing a pair for my late model! Using the 1200-style silver painted ones, just painteing the silver in black. one is broken though, so could do with another couple...

Got more parts painted from laurent. The car should go this week to get the headliner fitted, then back to pat's for the final rush...
