Thanks for the pic Ben!

Now all i need to do is load lots of strong Belgian beer and head to SCC!

Best ET so far 15.1. The setting we got before the dyno was actually pretty good so didn't gain much but, you know, had to do it... Now we know!

Thanks Fritte!

So SCC was great with the 68, got my best personal at 13.89, on street tires with fan belt. Still room for improvement... Grin

Saturday went smooth, Sunday was a bit messy with lots of shaking of the engine/trans. During my last run, my 1st gear popped at the launch, the engine moved and the shroud hit the firewall, making the strap of the dynamo come off. Fixed it at the end of the track to drive around but it went to Pat's on Tuesday to change a couple of things.

Everything if fixed now, there's been some touch up of paint and goodbye rubber mounts, hello rigid mounts...

Let's see how that goes on Santa-pod Smiley

Hi Roland,

it was great to see how much you enjoy your car obviously! I guess there was no other car (besides the guy with the metallic green oval on fuchs from your club - sorry I don´t know his name) that could be seen so often at the Gardemoen starting line!
I hope to see you and some of your club friends in germany on 1st of november!
Bye,

Tobi

Thanks guys, it's been an awesome week-end!

I think i can drive it much better, my top speed on the best pass was close to 160km/h i think, need to check that... and the reaction time was pretty poor, around 1.1sec... Lots of room for improvement...

Tobi, it's true that every time i heard "we want D cars in the staging lanes" i jumped into the 68 and got another pass... So much fun! Smiley

Roland,  I have another question.  the plate where you mounted your 3 gauges in, is it a self made cut out iron plate or did you start with a glovebox plate of an uk car?  Huh

Pupjoint, the middle one is new, you can get them from any dealer i guess... The 2 other ones  are original from the car...

Dem, plate is home made from steel. The fun part was the 3 holes....

And i did a 13.59 at the pod during the night session, on street tires and with belt, etc... Thanks for the compliments! Wink
